WHO

Hi, I’m Morgan, a birth doula with a deep passion for supporting women through the sacred and powerful journey of pregnancy and birth. Outside of birth work, you can often find me hiking, camping, traveling, walking my two corgis, reading, spending time with my husband and son, or serving my church and local community.

My heart for women’s health began during my very first OB/GYN appointment as a teenager, when I had to navigate a complicated diagnosis and a series of confusing and often scary interactions with specialists. Years later, after facing complications during the birth of my son, my passion for informed care and patient advocacy only grew stronger. That experience not only taught me the importance of understanding my health and my options, but it also deepened my trust in the Lord. Through it all, my faith grew as I leaned into His strength during a season full of unknowns.

Since then, I’ve become deeply committed to helping women feel informed, empowered, and supported throughout their reproductive journeys. My journey led me to work on a research team developing an intrauterine balloon stent to help treat Asherman’s Syndrome—a role that involved shadowing OB/GYNs and midwives and sparked a deeper appreciation for the science behind pregnancy and birth. I truly believe that birth is not only fascinating from a medical standpoint, but also incredibly beautiful and sacred.

Today, I feel called to walk alongside women in their most vulnerable and transformative moments—offering education, advocacy, and unwavering support as they step into motherhood.

WHAT

As your doula, I provide steady, personalized support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum season. My role is to help you prepare, understand your options, and feel grounded as you move through each stage of the journey.

A doula offers continuous emotional, physical, and informational support — not medical care, but a consistent presence focused entirely on you and your family. I walk beside you with practical guidance, evidence-based resources, hands-on comfort techniques, and calm reassurance so you never feel like you are navigating birth alone.

From preparation before labor to continuous support during delivery and early recovery, my goal is to help you feel supported, informed, and cared for every step of the way.

WHERE

I serve families throughout Fredericksburg, Virginia, and surrounding areas, including — but not limited to — Culpeper, Richmond, King George, and the greater Northern Virginia / Washington, DC region.

I attend hospital births, birth center births, and home births, working alongside your chosen care team and adapting to the unique rhythm of each environment. Every setting looks a little different, but my role remains the same: to provide steady presence, practical guidance, and continuous support throughout your birth experience.

WHY

My mission is to serve families with steady presence and meaningful support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum season. Together with God, we honor both the beauty and the challenges of welcoming new life, trusting that each birth story unfolds with purpose, grace, and care.
